Potentiometers - Motorized
Page 1 / 1
Motorized potentiometers are used in a variety of industrial automation and process control applications. They are simple to set-up. Easy to operate. No computers required. No software to write. Easy to maintain. Never obsolete. Micronor offers a wide range of configurations and options. Options include:
  • Control options are either Direct (Motor) Drive or Analog Input (4-20mA or 0-10V)
  • 1-turn or 10-turn models available
  • Available with single or multiple potentiometers
  • Mounting options include DIN rail, front panel and chassis mount
  • Timing cycle options from 10 seconds to 24 hours
  • Potentiometer power capacities range from 2W to 1000W (including rheostats)
  • DIRECT DRIVE motor options: AC (24, 48, 110 or 220VAC) DC (12 or 24V)
  • Limit switch options from 0 to 24 channels
  • Choice of single cam or fully programmable double cams

Recommendations for low wattage (<5W) applications:

  • For 1-turn Direct Drive applications, use either front panel-mount MPF or DIN rail-mount MPP
  • For 10-turn Direct Drive applications, use either front panel-mount or DIN rail-mount MPZ
  • For Analog Input control, use MR267

Recommendations for high wattage (20W-1000W) potentiometer or rheostat applications:

  • For Direct Drive applications, use MPPS
  • For Analog Input control, use MR266

MPC MPP MPF MPR | 1-Turn Motorized Potentiometers, Low Wattage (<5W)
Most general purpose and popular of all Micronor motorized potentiometers. Can accomodate multiple potentiometers as well as multiple cam switches.
  • MPP is most popular model, for horizontal DIN rail or chassis mount
  • MPR is for vertical DIN rail mount
  • MPF is front panel mount
  • MPC in protective housing with see-thru cover
  • MP and MPRE are special purpose models where resistances are required that are not offered in standard MPP/MPR/MPF/MPC series
  • See MR267 Series for models with built-in 4-20mA or 0-10V remote control interface or feedback

NK NP NV NF | Cam Options
These cams are the most common options offered on Micronor motorized potentiometers, cam timers and rotary limit switches:
  • NF cams are non-adjustable single cam disks with fixed milled program
  • NK series are the standard settable single cam or fully-programmable double cams found on most Micronor products
  • NP series cams are programmed via clips for single or multi-event switching per cycle
  • NV precision cams feature an internal worm gear for fine and precise adjustments. This is the default cam for all Micron replacement feedback units.
