MR318 series is a special version of our ZapFREE(tm) fiber optic encoders which is totally completely passive AND NON-METALLIC - designed for use in MRI facilities. The encoder follows the same Size 58mm form factor of the MR312 series and features a 5m optical pigtail so that the metal ST connector is outside the MRI active area.
